Your description of the DFM Add-Ons is exactly, precisely why we did this project. DRC/DFM in your design tool without manufacturer-approved rules to use is like having a spell-checker in your word processor but no dictionary.

We also do the same for EAGLE. And, we implement our manufacturing process inside our own tool, PCB123. If you or your readers have suggestions for other PCB tools to develop DFM Add-Ons for, we&#039;re interested to hear.
